Attitude Poll Hereford Stud
Attitude is a partnership between Peter Hayward and his son Andrew. The stud is based on the property at Jandowae, Qld which is approximately 64k north of Dalby.
Foundation stock was acquired from Amor Poll Hereford dispersal sale in July, 2006.
Female bloodlines have been introduced from Debarry, Kroy Park and Goomerah Poll Hereford Studs.
Sires being used within the herd are Attitude Bankroll, Amor Axle and Bowen Bishop.
Attitude's AI and Embryo programmes have seen a diverse range of Australian and overseas genetics introduced.
Our breeding programme is enabling us to produce cattle that are marketable within both Stud and Commercial herds, therefore maximising profitability.
2008 show season saw extraodinary results with three All Breed Championships from exhibiting at Sydney Royal, Taroom Poll Hereford Feature Show and our local Jandowae Show.
2009 Sydney Royal Show results were a First and a Third in the junior bull classes. These bulls went on to be sold at Dubbo National Poll Hereford Bull Sale.
2009 Brisbane Royal saw First and Second Under 12 months Bulls go on to become Junior Champion and Reserve Junior Champions.
2010 Sydney Royal results were First place ribbons for each of the two bulls presented, one of which was the first son of Attitude Bankroll B2.
Results from 2010 Dubbo Bull Sale were very pleasing with 4 of the 7 bulls offered purchased by Stud Breeders, the remaining 3 were purchased by Commercial Breeders. Ultimately, our aim is to breed cattle suitable to both markets. Many thanks to our clients and participating bidders.
In 2011 Attitude Emperor E2 won Grand Champion Bull at Qld Hereford Feature Show held at Clifton.
After a trip through NSW to South Australia Andrew and Peter decided on a exciting new sire Cascade Economy E143. We wish to thank all studs visited for their hospitality and would like to wish all a successful 2011.
